Check your phone first

Dial *#06#. If an EID number appears, your phone supports eSIM. The phone must also be carrier-unlocked; if it came from a carrier on a contract, check with them.

Install steps

iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code.
Android: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Add eSIM.
Then, on arrival, enable the eSIM line and turn on data roaming for it.

Common fixes

No connection on arrival: toggle airplane mode, confirm data roaming is on for the travel eSIM, and select a network manually if automatic selection stalls.
