Buy an eSIM without ID or an account
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Yes, you can buy a travel eSIM without showing ID or creating an account. With us, the only thing checkout asks for is an email address, because that's where your eSIM is delivered.
Why some SIM cards need ID and travel eSIMs don't
Many countries require you to register with a passport or national ID when you buy a local SIM card from a shop or airport kiosk there. That rule is aimed at local subscriber lines.
A travel eSIM works differently. It is a prepaid data plan that connects to local networks as a roaming partner, the same way your home SIM would. There's no local subscriber contract to register, so for the plans we sell we don't ask for identity documents at all.
Exactly what we ask for
- An email address, confirmed with a 6-digit code. Your eSIM QR code and order link are sent there, so it has to be one you can open.
- Payment. By card, or by crypto (USDT (TRC-20, ERC-20), USDC (ERC-20)).
That's all. No name, no address, no phone number, no passport scan, no account and no password. Your order lives on a private page reached through a long, random link that only you receive.
How private is each payment method?
- Card: processed by Stripe, and your bank statement shows the purchase. We never see or store your card number.
- Crypto: we see the transaction and the email address you gave us, nothing more. Public blockchains record every transfer, so if privacy matters to you, pay from a wallet that isn't publicly tied to your name. How to pay with crypto.
The data we keep and why is set out in our privacy policy.
Good to know
- Keep your order link private. Anyone with the link can see your QR code, and an eSIM can only be installed once.
- Use an email you'll check while travelling. If something goes wrong, that's how we find your order.
- Data plans don't come with a phone number (a few plans include minutes and texts, and say so). WhatsApp, Telegram, FaceTime and other apps work over the data connection, and your home SIM can stay on for your regular number.
- Local laws still apply. A travel eSIM doesn't change what you're allowed to do online in the country you're visiting.
